Belly is a digital loyalty platform launched in August 2011. Belly provides a consumer-facing iPad Mini to its partner businesses that allows customers the ability to earn points redeemable for unique rewards specific to each Belly business. Customers or "Belly Members" download the Belly mobile application (available on iOS and Android) or use the universal Belly Card to earn points for rewards at any business that is part of the Belly network. As of August 2015, Belly had more than three million members and was installed in 9,156 businesses worldwide in major markets including Chicago, Austin, New York City, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Houston, Miami, Atlanta and Vancouver. Belly uses QR code technology with both mobile apps and physical cards that allows customers to check in on the in-store tablet to gain points for repeat visits.
